This program is not a raffle and no purchase is required. When you register in support the State Ride, you will be asked to answer a few questions which entitles you to receive one of these rifles. Each entry is verified and if you do not hear from me after you have registered, please call me to make sure you are included in this program. If you are unable to support the event this year, please call or email me to get your name in the drawing.

During the State Ride, while visiting each Fallen Officers department, we ask a member of that family to choose a card which has every supporting Florida Police Officer who registered during the year. The winning officer then receives that Fallen Officers engraved rifle to carry with him on the job.

2023 Patrol Rifle Donations

Rifle Donations:

Most are aware the 9463 Foundation is a 501©(3) and can accept donations to fund the Patrol Rifle Program. For those who may not know, we give away one (agency approved) patrol rifle in memory of each Florida officer who died in the line of duty during the previous year. As this is not a raffle nor a fund raiser. You are automatically entered to win one of 10 rifles with each shirt purchase/donation. As most agencies now issue officers a patrol rifle, the 9463 Board of Directors have agreed to amend the Patrol Rifle Program to include both law enforcement officers and civilians. Civilians will have the choice to donate the rifle to any officer who does not have one.

This program is to give a patrol rifle to Florida police officers who do not have a rifle to take to work with them. There are many departments throughout the State who are not able to issue rifles to their officers and the officers are required to purchase their own. As we all know money can be a problem so officers have to do the best they can with the resources provided them. We are here to change that and make a difference, “It is only with your help” the Foundation is able to raise money to purchase patrol rifles. We are able to purchase one rifle for every Florida Fallen Officer who was killed in the line of duty from the previous year. Each rifle is engraved with:

reyka rifle

“Remembering”

(Fallen Officers Name)

(Fallen Officers Department)

The Fallen Officers End Of Watch (EOW) Date

This program is not a raffle and no purchase is required. When you register in support the State Ride, you will be asked to answer a few questions which entitles you to receive one of these rifles. Each entry is verified and if you do not hear from me after you have registered, please call me to make sure you are included in this program. If you are unable to support the event this year, please call or email me to get your name in the drawing. The only requirements are:

You are a full time Florida Police / Law Enforcement Officer

You do not own or are not issued a patrol rifle by your department

You department authorizes the use of a patrol rifle

During the State Ride, while visiting each Fallen Officers department, we ask a member of that family to choose a card which has every supporting Florida Police Officer who registered during the year. The winning officer then receives that Fallen Officers engraved rifle to carry with him on the job.

If you have the ability and would like to donate a rifle this year, please feel free to contact me at any time…

tim

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel was on hand at the begining of the 2013 State Ride and presented two rifles, to two of his Deputies, Sean Reyka and Tim Schaub. Both of these deputies fathers were also Broward County Deputies and both were assigned to the Pompano Beach District Office and both were killed in the line of duty. Now both of the sons are assigned to the same district and the Blue Knights LEMC honored their fathers memories by supplying both rifles to both sons.
